Experimenting with colour, something I've been trying to get myself to do for years. I am actually pleased with this, for once.
Created as an extra/bonus for my website.
Sorry for the large file, at least 1000x900 px. Original was around 1900x1000.
Most likely inspired by my artist hunting, especially of Australian artists. And Anthony Bennet's technique of painting, though without the culture/star element.

It's no mean feat being able to create a piece without a solid boundary, but with a sketch underneath that is soon to be replaced. The way you have shaded it as well is quite amazing given there aren't lines for the eye to follow, but it still looks like what it should. The work on the expression is quite impressive as well!
