So here he is. All finished up despite all the procrastination that I threw at him. I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. I've wanted to draw Sweeny since those photog shots of him on set back in the day... A friend at DA encouraged me to go on with it anyway. Hope you like, I do.

Although I haven't seen the new version, I do like the old Sweeney Todd and I like this piece as well.
The dark expression stands out immediately, alongside his dark and sunken eyes it becomes even more malicious. The work on the facial muscles and shading works well to achieve this, especially in his frown lines that you can just about see but aren't heavily prominent. Also the work on the clothes is lovely, such textures have been captured in your shading and in turn such detail. The hair is also quite awesome, it's very wispy and light, yet incredibly well drawn!
