a very good friend of mine enlightened me to a few things artistically as i was making this- resulting in it's early finish and my dissatisfaction with myself.
it's not entirely a bad thing- because now i'm motivated to work harder on personal expression and style while expanding my creativity instead of relying on flashy overworked pieces that people seem to flock to~ all in all it was a good experience and a tremendous help in lifting my art block. :3
i don't know how long this took- but it was a looooong time.

This piece is full of mystery--but oh, do I love it! The aquas are a beautiful touch and with the manta-person looking more in focused than the background, it really says there's a watery effect. Beautiful!
