These are the 4 page comic story i needed to make for my class. It was very interesting because it had a limit of 4 pages and it was your classmate who had to choose a theme for it. In my case, they choose a story with zombies, so i needed to develop a comic with 4 pages.I really enjoyed drawing it, but a bit frustrated because I didn't have much time to finish it. I was still finishing the pages 3 and 4 before the day i needed to go to print.. So after the half of page 2 i just skiped all the backgrounds and applied simple tones to rush the work. I know this comic is still amateur, but i had so much fun drawing it and i wanted to do a better work. It was really sad.
The comic is about 2 sisters running from a city full of zombies. In the end the little girl also becomes a zombie. I wanted to make the ending with both of them dead, but that would make the story too depressing, so this was the best solution

That was awesome, you say it's amateur, but it looks professional to someone like me.

Looks very good. Are you still going to apply tones later on, or is this complete as is?

This is absolutely beautiful.
The action, the style, the page layout, the character work...everything. It's gorgeous.
You really tell the story well, with pictures. You left room for text boxes, but it's pretty obvious exactly what's going on, just from what you've drawn here. The emotion, and the expressiveness is phenomenal. This looks intensely professional.
And the panel work is amazing. I absolutely LOVE the last page where the two final panels are just black. I really feel that dread that washes over her, and then...nothing. Excellent storytelling there.
Also, as far as the backgrounds go, there is something very special about the way it ended up. You say that the last two pages don't have backgrounds because of time, and I totally understand that. I mean, being in college myself, and all. But, I gotta say, I really appreciate them not having backgrounds. It makes me focus more on the characters. And since the last two pages are all character work, it could certainly be viewed as a subtle hint to not look at the backgrounds and to watch the action. That's how I took it, before reading your commentary. You did all the setup work with backgrounds and stuff in the first two pages, but then you got to action! Time to look at the characters!
And, of course, all of this is aside from the fact that you nailed the manga style. Just spot on work.
Honestly, if someone had told me that these were scans from an actual in-print comic, I wouldn't give it a shrug of doubt. They look straight off the shelf.
Bravo!

Great artwork! This is fantastic stuff, right down to the use of screen-tone
every action and expression is captured to perfection! Yiou should be very proud of this

Well damn. That is pretty good. =3= though it is still kind of depressing.
I do like the design of the comic and you can read it quite smoothly. The figures and poses as well as the action is well drawn and angled such the decking scene with the zombie! *ding! noise* The Expressions are some thing as well to envy and are done quite nicely = u =. so yeah very awesome job but it would be nice if you could some how finish this a bit more.
