My camera sucks. This is actually really really pretty in real life, and the pink just vibrates off of the background and the yellow circle.
ink on top of acrylic on top of charcoal on top of an oil painting I had made earlier this semester. with a yellow acrylic circle, and over that, a pink pastel woman. O_O!
if you couldn't tell, I did a lot to this piece.
I'm struggling with figuring out what I want to do with my work. so... I just played.

This is so pretty. It's simplistic, yet it says a lot. A feeling can be seen in this picture. I really love how it's so simple, but it gives you a feeling of warmth.
Great job!

I love it; the texture is really fine and worked, but at the same time, the piece is simple enough so that it doesn't scream out at you. It just kind of sits there, real pretty-like.
It's super-hard sometimes to just do a simple, plain style. You always want to work it more, make it more detailed and pretty, y'know? Half of the time, people just over-work crap when they shouldn't; but knowing when to stop is a good skill. :]
Either that, or you can be rich and hire an art-critic to start slapping your hand off the canvas when you try to over-work something. That'd be okay, too. BUT. Not as cool.

I love it. :]
