By demand, I guess.
This was a pain in the ass to put together. I'm not much for tutorials but i suddenly respect anyone willing to spend hours screencapping and laying this stuff out.

Multiply isn't the only layer setting that can produce good results. I sometimes use overlay or soft light. I suggest selecting all of the settings and seeing what they do on your own.
There are more intelligent and non-destructive ways to go about deleting the excess when applying textures to specific areas by masking. You can also use masks to apply textures as gradations and transparencies and bypass the select>load selection process, but I didn't want to go into those techniques as they are more advanced and I rarely use them to apply textures.
