My main fanchar, Shaylona Durrow. (Pretty much always referred to as Shay.
)
She isn't my fursona, but she is in /everything./ x_x She appears in a lot of artwork and a lot of stories of mine. I've had her for about....five years, one of my first fanchars for anything really.
She is involved with the basic crew. You know, Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow and the like. She is weaker than Knuckles and slower than Sonic, but she has some telepathic abilities and the ability to transform in a rather limited fashion. (These abilities are amplified by her favorite Chaos Emerald, the white one.) She looks out for her friends, but she has a tendancy to be manipulative. Fortunatly, she uses this sneaky ability for the greater good....well......usually.
She has undergone many transformations over the years. She started out grey with hideous pink stripes. (I was stupid...shut up. >:/) Then I decided to fry her in an accident involving Chaos energy and make her into some sort of "ghost." Shortly afterwards that darn'd Danny Phantom came on TV and I had to change her again. DX So. Here she is.

Wow this is really nostalgic. I remember when my stories revolved around the sonic universe, I have broken away from that now though.
My characters has changed drastically too over the past few years, you tend you become more adventurous in age and so you create more unique concepts for a design.
Love the picture. Great line art, amazing colours/tones and brilliant proportions.

oh wow O_O everything about this is epic! seriously. i love how you've done her lineart, and the colouring and shading fits so well. everything just... goes together... so well.
sorry other people are so... impolite about things. personally, i think she looks wonderful, and the fact she's a fan-character is neither here nor there.

Hmm... I have a few Sonic fan-charas of my own but none are exceptionally cool like yours. xD;;
I've got a cheetah girl, a fox girl, annnd a weird cat-looking... something girl. o_O
Anyway, I like her. Her clothes are /so/ rad. I want her shoes. haha x3
