This is the pop-up Christmas card i made for my boyfriend, jonathan. i actually planned to make this a month in advanced, though the text on the front is different than what i was planning. Obviously, the two people in the card are supposed to be him and me.
i was really trying to achieve a cute cartoony sorta style that still stayed true to the features that makes each of us recognizable. so i'm really hoping that this does indeed look like

i got the idea to make a pop-up Christmas card when i was at the Barnes and Nobles book store looking at the pop-up cards located close to the register.
media: crayola water colors on strathmore water color paper, with white acrylic paint, and silver and gold prisma color pencil. indigo blue prisma color marker for the blue border. card base on regular card stock paper.

It is the season. However I would like to add something. I love the letters in the card, and the fact that it's a pop up card. That you actually took time to make that, is awesome. Because most people I know just make random cards.
