Muted Heart

I know there are some mistakes in there...and I tried to fix them, but I couldn't. :/

I'm really bad at writing concise, short stories, but let's see how it goes for the sake of explaining this illustration.

This illustration is about a boy who carried a curse. Every person he meets in his lifetime will hate him forever at one point in time. Not knowing he has a curse placed upon him, he blamed himself for this misfortune. So one day, his old friend [who hates him] stole his heart and sold it to a strange old lady in exchange for a large sum of money. Realizing that his heart and personality were stolen, he tracked down the old lady, but she said she sold it to someone else. To compensate for his misfortune, she gave him a long piece of paper that contained a number of spirits in it.
when he went home, he concluded that to be accepted into society, he must act like everyone else. So he took the paper and started to scribble down the initials of people he wanted to be like. Underneath that, he drew one heart per initial, cut them out, and taped it next to his heart. these paper hearts allowed him to act as the person who he designated the heart to be. As the years passed, he kept adding more and more initials and hearts onto the paper and kept taping more and more. After 7 years, he realized he was still rejected from society, accepted that fact, untaped all the paper hearts, and tried to listen as hard as he could to his own heart. It was useless though because his heart was mute.
Seeing as how he had no personality to call his own, in his last attempt, he wrote his own initials and drew a heart underneath it, and taped it onto his chest. That paper heart was useless and contained no spirit. everyday afterward, he tried as hard as he could to listen to his own heart, but he could never hear a sound.
