New one!

took me about 8 - 10 hours or something

This guy here eats stone for fuel, inside his body it gets incinerated, The ashes and smoke leave his body through the pipe on his back.
But this guy here has bin around so long that the pipe on his body has just melted with stone into something that looks like a vulcano.

hope u like it

Regulus Says:

THIS IS BRILLIANT AND I HOPE IT KNOCKS SOME RUBBISH OFF THE FRONTPAGE. CAPSLOCK THIS FOR EMPHASIS.

I would say that maybe I'm a bit dubious at the way the entire structure is supported by two rather thin (in comparision to the robot thing) legs, maybe the legs should be thought about or maybe have a couple of extra legs added, or maybe have it so the arms look as though they're used a bit more for support by having one on the ground?

Rafica Says:

i'd have lost patience w/ it at two hours, bravo for you^^
great job! only a matter of time before it's featured

Raynrayn Says:

Great detail and landscape! I love the head the best.

rednek Says:

Dude you rocks as always
Only thing I don't understand is that brush you're using in every work (or it's texture... y'know what I mean, those lines) It's kinda originally but I dunno if it's good idea :-/ I think that I would like it more without that...
Also, I think that there's should be more shadows on his arm, he is keeping it in shadow of his vulcano-pipe anyway, isn't he?
Some rocks doesn't place shadows

The creature is ultra original, I love it, great job with concept, lineart and coloring ^^
At first I wanted to say something against that blur you used on enviroment, but now I see how great idea it is. With this blur and less-detailed background is all attention of viewer on Creature - where it should be... I am also going to do it like this :)

And that's all crit I am able to give dude, those negatives are little and irrelevant anyway

Cyril Says:

It looks like something from Magic: The Gathering, from the Mirrodin set.
