White Twilight

I wasn't actually going to include this in this gallery- as I have to redo it entirely. You see- this was my first picture after about a year and a half of not drawing. And it was my first full piece done with markers. Kurama's face is completely messed. And it's on the WORST thin cruddy paper ever possible.

SO! I'm going to do a better job on this when I redo it! But it was done for the Kurama/Hiei club on DA. Now. Before anyone gets started on me. No- they aren't a couple or anything else in the anime. But their friendship is dynamic and interesting enough anyway. So focus on that if you can't handle the thought of them as a couple. Personally, I don't think there's an ounce of shounen ai to be seen in Naruto- but I come across loads of that art just the same.

Sorry to be whiny- but I get really tired of getting those e-mails. 'Great work- but how dare you put them together! DIE' Whatever. I know they're not canon wise. You know they're not. But at least the manga author of YYH HAS done shounen-ai manga before. So nyah!

Besides that- has anyone else noticed that newer anime are catering towards the shounen-ai fans? I'm not a true yaoi fangirl, by any means- but I can tell the difference in manga and anime when they add these weird little hints here and there.

Sort of on the same level as Sirius Black screaming at Lupin in the PoA movie- 'THIS IS YOUR TRUE SOUL!' When did THAT happen in the book?
