Lapras PRE-Evo: Lapis

Haven't been spriting for a good long while, and I was good and bored while on duty the other day...not to mention I was on a bit of a sugar high after eating several packs of Smarties out of sheer bordom.
But this is a pretty cute return to the pixel artwork I do still love to attempt. Its a Pre-Evolution to the well known Pokémon Lapras, I named: Lapis.
I chose that name because a Lapis is a beep blue semi-precious stone, and this little guy...well its just plain precious!
The name Lapis is also very close to the spelling of Lapras. Kinda a lame reason, but I think it fits well.
Like Lapras, it "wears" a protective shell, which is actually the shell of its egg. It sheds the egg shell when it evolves and grows the hard bony shell on its back. I got the idea from Togepi, since he's the only baby who still wears its egg shell after hatching.

How would this little critter come about?
I figured, since every old school Pokemon that exsisted before the whole "Breeding Conditions" came about, needed an item to hold in order to produce certain baby versions. So since Lapras never had an Evo, or Pre-evo, I decided to give similar conditions to get this little cutie.
You MUST breed only two Lapras. A Ditto will not produce a Lapis egg.
The Male Lapras needs to be holding the Sea Incense and the Female Lapras needs to be holding the Wave Incense.

To get this guy to evolve into a Lapras...you must max out his happiness, naturally.
