The last bird of the season. The last leaves of the year. The last person to appreciate any of this natural beauty. The last one.
Started this months ago and today I finally finished it. In the end, I wish this could have been better. My attempt at a "blurry" BG failed...kinda. I wanted the look that would akin to photography, where you focus(thus making it clearer) on the subject(being the female and the bird) and the rest is out of focused. Ah well.
Tried some new things in this. Other than pushing myself to do FULL pieces, you know with BG and all that, I did a lot of designing into her outfit before drawing the finished piece. Everything about her is to reflect Autumn. Also, I really tried to make the bird look like a BIRD, with the texture.

that is so cute, but I disagree with the bird textur, body feathers on birds are usually very small and short, if anything, a texture should be done with only slight color variations
