Ever had made a friend with someone who you thought was the best person ever to grace the planet, yet they desert you, moving so far away that a cowboy couldn't spit so far and so far that you lose your special connection with your friend, who you thought was the greatest peep who ever was? Yep, I've had that...
Her name was Laura Howes, and she was a great gal. She was a tomboy and very aggressive, yet she was kind and supportive towards me during our time together at Elementary school. We shared our interests and trusted each other through the worst of times, yet only two years ago, she moved to Dorset, a sunny beach town absolutley Elephant years away from my home-town.
We first met in Elementary school, as said. Our bond began when a rumour 'round school started to spread sayin' that I had a crush on her (I did, but not THAT kinda crush), one day, I can't remember how exactly, but we befriended and we did everything together, which backed up the theroy of the crush rumour.
One fateful morn', I was very excited about goin' to school and see Laura, yet that day, she broke out the news that she was moving. Now that was it, tears rolled down me eyes, my heart was nuked and I completely lost the will to live and move. I went home that day staring at the ground as the rain flew down faster than Micheal Schummacher in an F1 tournament. I remember that I cried one day, I still do cry to this very time of day.
Now, that rumour had spread throughout my High School, 'cos I loved her so much that I never stop talkin' about her to my mates, but they don't understand how I feel. Pfft, some friends THEY are! I tell the teachers and my parents how I feel about all this, but they jus' say 'Get over it, it happens'.
*sigh* Yes, I know I can still write to her, but Laura, if y'all reading this, I just wanna let you know that I miss ya as much as the next bloke on the high-street, that means I'm dying for you, I do DO hope we can re-live our old-times and be good friends again, me heart's being thrown out here, so please understand!
I doodled this WITH MS PAINT while listening to one of my favourite Japanese songs, 'Sweet Dreams' by Dreams Come True. Great tune.
Hey Laura, it's me Tom, I wish you a Great Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
