just a little taste of a piece i'm working on... I'm trying to go in a reaaaaly technical direction with this one, if you could tell.

enjoy!

OH, AND TO OTHER MUSICIANS:
PLEAAASE, PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INPUT ON THIS! i know the playing isn't top-notch yet, and the production quality is shameful compared to my completed pieces, but let me know what you think so i can change stuff early on!
Thanks so much!

GodOfThunder Says:

Sounds somewhat like early COB. Make the second guitar more hearable, as it is know it's too much hidden in the background. But otherwise I like it. Nice! ^^

Cyril Says:

Nice, just needs some bass. . No seriously, this needs bass, but other than that I really really like it. The drums are nice and punchy. I think the production is fine, I mean other than maybe turning the drums down a TAD but that is usually not a good idea.

Shadow Drakken Says:

Pretty fast pace :3
Nice thing going here, I really like it so far! X3

AngelsDontKill Says:

The only thing that sounds "technical" would be the lead guitar and the harmonized parts. The riffing sound kind of plane and blunt in my opinion, but remember that is JUST my opinion. The beginning sounds good, but the only thing I think would make it flow better is NOT stopping. You stopped in the beginning and then struck an open chord, which in my opinion doesn't work for this. But yeah ... I am sorry I might not be much help, but I am only saying my opinion, everyone has their own. If you like it, keep working with it, because it still sounds very good!

TheAmateurAnimator Says:

The snare is too far panned to the left, leaving it disconnected from the rest of the song. Other than that, it's decent, but it seems to lack raw power.

speedmetalmessiah Says:

Well other than thickening up the guitars, I'd say just make the snare centered. It sounde dlike you panned it to the left, and I always hate it when people do that. Also maybe a bit of reverb to make it all sound a little more together. Other than some mixing to make everything a bit more balanced I don't really have any tips to give. Oh, and great playing man.
