I know, I know, one of the longest titles for artwork on sheezy, but the question is in the title of my new lightsaber doodle model: Which colour blade best suites this lightsaber handle?

Nice work on the saber Pitty the render aint much :\ Looks like you used an HDR map and even a dome? But where are the shadows, just speculars on?. Looks very 'computer generated' to me. so for me the modeling its ok, but the render could be alot better...
About the best color... Red is ok.. The orange doenst look like actually orange light; that intense with doesnt fade well on the orange bloom... Green is ok... Cyan its almost ok... Blue and purple dont look very well, lack of blending to white like orange... White looks like its just an intense spotlight
I think the major correction you could do here is giving somehow the idea that the saber illumites the rest... Remember the film scenes... Dark scenes... If u can give that idea this saber come to life
