Evil samurai robot

I guess. I'll probably come up with a better name for him/it. Like "Ocean Technology Drone #37" or something.

Oh! That reminds me. I came up with a story for Samurai Robot, who is seen [here].

So there's this company called Ocean Technology (or something else) that has the weird swirl logo that I actually borrowed from a hopefully very forgiving friend. It's based in Japan and it's been screwing around for a while and it finally comes up with the first artificial intelligence in the world. (In the year 2156.) So, nearly a hundred years later, it's still the leading robot company in the world, and it's branched off all over the place, just like Samsung, which, incidentally, started off as a sugar company in the 1950s.

It has an R&D company called Bleeding Edge of the Ocean (or, once again, something else; I just made that up just now) and it in turn has been screwing around for a while, and it comes up with the bane of science fiction everywhere -- time travel!

So, since there are artificially intelligent robots everywhere now, some of them probably have jobs. And one unfortunate robot working in the lab gets caught in a time machine malfunction and gets transported to around 3000 B.C. in the middle of a giant rock in the same area in Japan where the lab is (because it's a time machine, not a space machine).

Now, I don't know about you, but being stuck in a rock for a couple millenia would get me pretty mad. Maybe it would even turn me evil. And when a legend of a great samurai warrior of insane, even robot-caliber strength and speed vanquishing a horrible evil surfaces in a millenia-old tomb, the company realizes they have to send a robot back in time, or all will be lost.

This makes sense, because time (when you play your cards right) can be sort of cyclical. Here's a diagram:

Robot sent back in time (c. 2140 AD to 3000 BC) -> is vanquished by second robot (c. 500 - 1000 AD) -> intelligent robots are created (2156 AD) -> Robot sent back in time...

But it's not like the second robot is definitely going to succeed. Watch Back to the Future Part II.
