AND HERE'S MY PROOF, STRAIGHT FROM CHAPTER 26:

Mrs. Umbrella passes through the room and November practically jumps off of Damhán’s lap. He relaxes once she’s gone and asks, “Uh, is your mom okay with...?”

Tony starts to answer, but Damhán interrupts with a laugh, “I would think she is, unless she didn’t know about you and Hayden.”

Oh yeah. Maybe I forgot to mention that. Probably because I try not to think about it. Tony turns bright red and Tuesday sits up straighter, eyebrows raised at him. “He’s kidding, right?” she asks.

“Um, no, he’s not,” says Tony. Tuesday looks over at me disbelievingly, Thalia with amusement.

I nod and she adds, incredulous, “When was this? I thought both of you said you weren’t--“

“We’re not, that’s how we know for sure,” Tony says, laughing a little. “It’s just, when everyone including your friends calls you gay for a few years straight, you start wondering if it’s possibly true. And, in response to that first question, we were thirteen.”

“It was Morgan’s fault,” I add.

“My suggestion, you mean. You two were the ones who decided to go ahead with it.”

“So what happened?” Thalia asks. She sounds genuinely interested.

“It just didn’t work,” says Tony.

Tuesday leans back on the couch, relaxing. “Ah, I see. So you tried something for a week or so and--“

“Three months.”

“What?”

“Three months,” I repeat, with a twitch of a smile. “Which makes Tony my longest standing relationship to this day.” It was that voice of his. Despite my practically nonexistent physical feelings, there was definitely something in the way he spoke (and sang, I found out later) that attracted me to him. I don’t know what he saw in me, but in the end we were just meant to be friends. Nothing awkward about it, somehow. Tuesday gives me this look that says she’s had enough surprises and shakes her head, sighing.

“So did you guys want music or not?” Tony asks. He’s trying not to burst out laughing.

lololololol WOW, best backstory EVER. Poor Tues, she's traumatized. How'd you like to find a photo of your boyfriend of three years kissing another boy, much less your neighbor?
