This building was a project of mine to get better at modelling chateaus and large buildings in the Sims 2. This is Chateau de Burnes, built for and wned by Lady Alexis Burnes, the omnipotent totalitarian ruler of my Sim neighborhood.

This is a huge four story building. I couldn't think of enough rooms to put in the thing. Not pictured are a resturant, two extravagant guest rooms, a band practice stage, toy shop, and a living room with a jacuzi. Below is a description of the pictured rooms and stuff:

In the upper left picture is the chateau itself. As you can see, there are numerous balconies and windows. The windows are colored differently on the outside because they are meant to blend in with the interior, and you can only give a window one color in Sims 2.

In the upper right is the master bathroom. A typical decorating technique I use is putting a lot of plants in the bathroom. This allows one to get into the mood more easily when they answer the call of nature...

In the bottom left is the private bar, with Lexi walking through it. I'm not sure why I added so many barstools. My computer has enough trouble rendering more than one Sim in the chateau.

In the bottom right is Lexi's bedroom, with the totalitarian ruler on her bed. The bedroom is a complete contrast to the Addams family style in the rest of the chateau, which is hard to see in the few pictures provided.

That first, external shot is amazing. You're not just good at making these houses, but you take really great shots of them. It's funny how your expertise with a camera seems to blend into virtual cameras as well.

D: I want that bathroom. It's too pretty to be a bathroom. How do you make those awesome multi-level things???? I'm totally stumped. *envy*
