*shrug* I really have no idea.
All I know is the main focus of the picture is a couple of echidnas, and I'm fairly certain that one of them is dead. (Cookie if you can guess which one.
)
I was suddenly inspired last night to spend nearly two hours on this bizarre sketch. It was rather difficult, I haven't done a picture like this before. Perhaps it will be colored eventually...Marvel at my horrid fire-drawing skills.
I might make these two my characters, who knows. c:
(By the way, he isn't sinking in quicksand, he's on his knees. >.>; )

I love your sketches by the way, They are always well rounded and complete. They don't need color to come alive and portray feelings :)
