the rivers
The tribe elders say we shouldn’t go by the rivers in the morning when the father sun breaks the ground of mother earth because when this happens the lost souls of those that died and were not taken by the envoys to the land of the ancestors stay on the earth and live in the rivers and walk on its still and calm waters in the morning.
Now let me tell you a story about how many a man, woman, and child were taken by those damned souls that were cursed to walk the earth until the end of time for their transgressions in life and how they are damned to walk this earth for eternity and try to gain more souls so they can over whelm the land of the living and take our bodies as living hosts, and send our souls to the same torment we deserved and that’s why the elders don’t let you go near the rivers at dawn so you wont join their ranks and let them inhabit your body.
