At first it was going to be just adding a bar for an unknown artist's art feature, but since my screen capture only let me grab so much, I had to put the bars going up to down, and then Put the community news in that box over there. That is the last time I do something with over 40 layers. This new photoshop is very different from photoshop 2. Got any tutorials for using photoshop CS3? Here are the artists who's art are shown here.
EDIT: I was thinking, since people have been mentioning this, that the random art shown should have under 100 views (maybe under 150), and should only be shown for 2 days, and 1 night. If needed, it should be shortened to 1 day, and 1 night, so that it doesn't become intertwined with popular. Think this would work?
Another suggestion is that when artwork is chosen for the random art feature, once they reach 500 views they are replaced with other art. Any other systems you can think of?

That certainly would stop people from saying it's a dA rip-off. And I like the unknown art idea. I actually had some idea I was going to suggest to the site only it was "Random Art of the Day", where a random piece of artwork that was 2-8 months old and had under 200 views would get selected to be on the front page for 24 hours. Although, I like your name better.
It would help ignored artwork to get commented on without waiting a week for it to get "maybe" featured.

I think it would be difficult to define a criteria for 'unknown' art. Above you mention that it would be exceptional art that doesn't get the attention it deserves but that's a rather broad criteria as everyone has a different definition of exceptional as well as how much attention is 'enough' for a given piece.
I wonder if it would be better to have a random feature that maybe trawls through work and shows those that have fewer than five comments or something? Or maybe something with fewer than five comments but an over all 'pleasing' score or whatever. I think it's a cool idea to feature work that has fallen through the cracks but I don't know really how it would work?
Anyway, the over all design is pretty clean so kudos there. :)
