just a quick somethin I did in ms paint to explane to newbies howto resize sprites in ms paint properly, I probibly couldve done better in Photoshop, but I did this for friend to start with anyway

You can also press the "+" key on the numberpad part of your keyboard after selecting the sprite for instant results btw :3

Useful, but I should point out where you say "If you select even one extra pixel, you'll screw up the resizing process...", it's not true. Any size box can be used to stretch out the sprite, provided it's on a blank background or some solid color.
