Melody Ch5

We reached the boys restroom about a minute or so after the late bell had rung. The white tiled floor echoed the sound of our feet as we walked across it. I leaned against one of the doors of the stalls and slouched down so that my knees were slightly bent yet my body did not touch the floor. I let my book bag slip off my shoulders and lifted my guitar case of my back and leaned it against the wall.

I looked over and saw Xigbar arching his body against one of the sinks. “So….you know you look a little too old to be sophomore” I said trying to start a conversation. “Yeah well long story short lets just say that I’ve been held back more then a few times”. He laughed a little and looked over in my direction “so you play guitar?” I turned my attention back to my case and smiled “yeah though I’ve never performed or done anything like that, I’m not that good yet” I said looking down at the tie on my school uniform.

I heard the sound of my feet coming toward me and I looked up suddenly to see Xigbar hovering over me. He smiled and almost smirked as he placed the palm of his hand on the stall next to my face. I smiled also and tried not to look embarrassed as I heard him say “promise me you’ll play me song one of these days”. his voice was deep and full of sexuality. And I could tell I was blushing as I nodded my head yes.

He used his hand to cup my chin and lift my head up so that we were face to face. My heart beat faster and I thought it would skip a beat as he leaned in closer. Suddenly the door to the bathroom swung open and Xigbar took a few steps back a he looked toward the intruder who had come in. I was surprised to see Axel standing in the door way covered with a purple substance which stained his white uniform shirt and face as well as hands.

“A-axel what happened to you?” I asked in shock. “Oh hey Dem, well lets just say that I might have mixed the wrong liquids in science and well it didn’t go so well” he said with a devilish smirk “Professor .Vexen sent me to the restroom to clean up”. “So you two know each other?” I heard Xigbar ask as I snapped my attention back to him. “Oh yeah Axel this is Xigbar he’s new” I explained as I stood up straight and wrapped my arm around Axels shoulders playfully. I saw Axel look over Xigbar for a second before walking toward him and extending his hand for him to shake. “My names Axel, A-x-e-l commit it to memory” he said with a grin.
