Another day, another experiment.
This scan of Fuu from Samurai Champloo that I found at www.animepaper.net was one that I've seen used on a lot of wallpapers in the past, so I figured I'd take a whack at it and see if I could make a wall of my own. And lo and behold, I did! Somewhat simple, somewhat chaotic, I think it turned out looking pretty good.
The brushes I found while looking through DeviantArt's resources page one day, and like I said before the scan was from www.animepaper.net. Extracting Fuu was a bit of a pain in the butt, as the background she was on could hurt your eyes if you stared at it for too long. Also, her right finger nail (the red one with the two white stars) was cut off, so I had to use another finger nail and swap the colors to complete it. Otherwise, the rest was pretty simple, I only used two brush strokes and a few simple painting techniques to make the background the way it is.
