I wrote this some time ago, while thinking about what it would have been like to go to the art school I had been accpeted to, what life as a young starving art student may have been like

Might I ask why you did not go?

That's a nice poem. Being a student myself I can safely say it's very appropriate. For reasons which I can't quite explain I especially like the bit about collars to the biting wind. Maybe it's just that time of year here in the UK. Everyone thinks I'm weird but I love a cold wind in the morning. Not piddly little breezes, but where each gust tears at your clothing and whips across your face like a lash. There's something very elemental about it, and something terribly studenty there in my opinion. Everyone else has their heavy coats on and there's me wearing a t-shirt and grinning insanely. You know, people always used to tell me that my days at primary school would be the best of my life. They were dead wrong.

However I can't actually afford takeaway food and I don't like coffee. Aw...

I...I must fave this poem. My favorite stanza is the second to last. :)
