His youthful beginings within the Navy seasoned him from the young age of Twelve as a Midshipman within the Ship-of-the-lineRoana 74. drilled in the harshness of the ((Caribbean when played human)) Desert Seas, blinded by sweat and the haze of gunfire. As a '
owder Monkey' as he was quite small during his early years.
By the age of 18, he was a senior mishipsman, and doing well, teaching the new recruits, and able to take charge below decks. He proved himself worthy of this by aiding the third Lieutenant take the Palmeta as a prize, which granted him the rank of Warrant Officer.
