original description:
Before listening to this, I want you to shut everything else off. Do nothing else except listen, relax, and enjoy.
All too often, much of our life passes us by in an intense flurry. "Give me everything I want right now or I'm going to throw a hissy fit" kind of attitude. I challange you, step back and just enjoy the little things life has to offer. Even if it is as simple as an afternoon rain.
Thank you, sincerely, for listening.
-Rok
Edited: note velocities, string section, piano reverb, compression/EQ stage, rainfall sample from a thunderstorm I recorded.
Tools Used Detail: Colossus (Steinway B Grand), Symphonic Orchestra Gold (Layered: 9pc Double Bass, 18pc Violin, 10pc Cello, 10pc Viola... essentially a full string section with separate attack envelopes for each section), Thunderstorm Recorded August 24, 2007 in Ann Arbor, MI using a Shure SM57 Instrument Microphone

I've always liked music like this. It's a change from the metal and rock I listen to driving home.
