I was playing around with maybe shifting to a a more cartoony style for my artwork. =3 Jordan has just done a major dimensional shift, because she is my guinea pig and was created as such.

Don't get me wrong, I still love the anime style and I'm not giving it up, but I wanted to try having my own style of artwork as well. Anime is done by a lot of people, so I wanted to have something that people could identify me by. ^.^

Notable differences between anime and cartoon:

-Head shape is rounder and less defined by lines
-Bandanna has a pointed "tail" at the end
-Colors are a little brighter
-Body shape is skinnier and drawn less to proportion
-She has a little bit of a noticeable ponytail under her bandanna ties
-Bangs are drawn a little smoother, with a couple fewer bits sticking out
-Eyes and mouth are drawn more widely
-She now has actual lines indicating eyelashes (she IS a female, after all)
-Gloves are a different color (probably a permanent design change overall)
-Hands are drawn more cartoony, focusing less on perfect shape
-Height is now roughly four to five heads high, rather than six or so
-Outlines are considerably thicker

There's probably more. Let me know what you think of this, though.

Also, sorry for grittiness in some areas. >.>' Pixels are mean.

-strokes chin- As much as I like Anime style as well, Cartoon-ey is fun! Very nice!
