Finally, I finish this! It's my gift to my boyfriend celebrating our 1 year anniversary.

Ahhh Gilt and Korus... No matter how hard they try to hate each other, they just can't stay away. I won't make any excuses for the perspective being weird, because I honestly don't care.. because I LOVE how it turned out anyway! I'm so proud of this. I love the city scenes so much now. And this would be my first scene of an apartment type interior. Kinda cool. I's makin' the breakthrus. Woot, I say. Crits aren't encouraged because it's a gift, as per my usual request.

Well, please enjoy this sexy piece.

I, well...just couldn't stay away from featuring Can't Stay Away!

This is easily one of the most excellent works of art I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. Gardenia Marvally doesn't pull her punches in any respect, here, showing off detailed and entirely convincing science fiction interior and exterior scenery, as well as complicated entwined posing of her figures. This is cell shading at its finest example of the technique, stylizing the scene to beautifully expressive ends. The colors are just plain smart, in a cool, moody, near-monochromatic palette spiced up with just a hint of jazzy neon pink. Technical proficiency all around, to create a work that is striking, evocative, and deliciously dark and atmospheric, yet perfectly legible.

...And did I mention that it's sexy? It's drop-dead sexy. Rowr!

This is gorgeous.
And the colours looks so good.

Dhillon Says:

I take that both of you are fans of Aeon Flux?
I really like the stylised lines and the use of aqua & purple.
I salute that pile of hair on her head, so elegantly coiffured!

Aidda Says:

This is wondeful. I love the way the lights come through the window so you can see them. It's absolutly gorgeous. Happpy anniversary, by the way. A year in a relationship is always a nice feat.

POPAROCKA Says:

Holy shit, woman! So...awesome...TEACH MEEEEE. Or just....gimme your skillz! *yoinks them and runs*

aibichan Says:

Oh my god, I absolutely love the neon signs. That must of been so much fun to figure out and make really bright against that dark palette. @__@ And how you shade in tints according to the signs. I have serious problems with that. Ahhhh~

Radical JoJo Says:

Gah! Fwuh! Eeh?! *Falls over*

I'm...astounded. This is fantastic. Certainly your best work. There's so much going on here...Excellent anatomy, gorgeous lighting, smart colors, perfect mood and atmosphere...And sexy to the max. I really don't have words for how much I'm impressed.

*Resounding applause*
