Yet another watercolors class come and gone. Our teacher said "paint a turtle" without specifying - mistake. In fact, she hasn't said much of use for the past three times, so I'm starting to question the value of taking that class. Especially after she told us today that mixing earth colors from "rainbow colors" was impossible. Not only is this physically false, it also violates very basic art knowledge (and personal experience). Her explaination for this supposed impossibility was that earth colors have "different vibrations", since rainbow represent the cosmos, while earth colors represent the earth. I don't know if this is anthroposophist bullshit or any other kind, but I didn't pay to hear it.
