This little fellow flew full-speed into my picture window the other day; he landed on my deck all kinds of stunned. Once I determined he was going to make it (the other week a dove did the same but broke his neck and died), I ran for the camera.

He was shocked enough that he stayed perfectly still for about five minutes while I got less than half a foot away taking pictures, until he finally came to his senses and flew off into the woods. He's quite an adorable little thing. :heart:

He's beautiful, and so is this shot! Glad he was ok afte running into your window. That must have been suprising.. o.o; I've never had a bird fly into a window at my house but i'm sure if one suddenly did I would deffinetly be suprised by it.
