As Grace Bestow

God's grace did smile us-ward,
As He set that we should meet.
"Two hearts I'll bind together",
He thought of you and me.

Two hearts in need of healing,
Though broken on their own,
"Shall fit together perfect!",
And thusly had them sewn.

"Now slowly shall they see this,
This thing which I've decreed.
Yes, slowly shall they realize...
That they were meant to be."

"Then pains which they have suffered,
Shall die and fade away,
As though their hearts were waiting,
Merely waiting for this day..."

O, what beauty hath this thing we've found,
What a bless'ed gift it be.
To care so deep for one another,
What a precious thing to me.

Please bless us, Lord, that we may grow
Together always, as grace bestow.
Please build us up, and ever strong,
Together always... as we belong

Umm, well.. tis the first real poem I've written in a looong while! Probably since before I had my heart broken for the first time... heh.... buut, tis nice to be able to write something again... to have someone in my life that I care deeply enough about that I'm inspired to do so! I'm not sure what all will come of it yet, but hoping it's something real this time.... I'm kinda very sick of having my heart broken. =)

Annnd, I'm half tempted to disable comments.. just cause my poems are kinda personal-like! Buuut, I guess I won't. Be nice though, pleeease! =p I suppose it's not too hard to ignore/delete comments.. but I'd rather not have to!

And all props go to God, for giving me what talents I have! And even more so on this, cause... I can't write anything that pretty!! Hehe. I did ask that He'd help me write something really nice for her, and.. I think He did. :]

But legal-wise, all copyrights belong to ME! =p Steal it, and you will pretty much be assured to die a slow & horrible death.. or the like. =)
