She sleeps, My Angel
And off to bed my angel doth sleep and dream of sweet mornings to come,
for one day I may sing to her of my love I keep with out such pains of restraint,
with a smile upon her face and the warm feelings within her heart she rests.
How I wish to bring her such joys in life and see her smile with grace,
for she is my secret, my love divine that brings me joy and inspiration,
my muse unbound that sing sonnets that only I can hear, but perhaps I am fooling myself.
And so in secret I hold my tongue and tell her not of my love,
to stand back and watch her spread her wings and soar within the clouds,
and once again I see her sleep, in peace with she doth rest.
Perhaps, may perhaps I will find the strength to tell her what lays in my heart.

You don't have to say sorry for thinking you're a bad poet =] If it makes you feel better then write it.
And it's a lovely poem, by the way!

cool poem

kinda deep too
Smiling Devil Says:
I like the poem, it's full emotion. But I've to tell you that this gets a lot better with the right punctuation^^. If you fix that it'll be much easier for others to read!
