Why is Kenny the most popular character?
Like. I'm actually asking this question in a serious manner. Kenny has few to no lines, in the early episodes, all he did was die, he certainly wasn't the funniest character of the bunch.
How is it he is the most favorited of the South Park fandom?
BUT ANYWAY since he's the most loved, I decided I should draw him since I practically never draw him. Ever. In fact, I think this might be my first Kenny drawing.
Go figure.

I think it's a good idea that they don't make him die in all episodes cuz.. ya.. in the first ones it was funny but geez after 4 seasons it wasn't.
And now I love what are they doing with him I mean... he's only with the gang and that's all.
That's a good thing they didn't remove him cuz when he rly died and I thought we will never see him again.. I was so sad =(
But they bring him back so that's cool! ^^
Kenny is the best and Butters too.
You should draw Butters for the next one.

we love kenny because he's a man of few words. and for some reason people love that. or maybe it's the dying. i don't know. I like kenny cuz he never says anything. but i thought kyle was the most loved character. am i wrong? no one cares as much for kenny as they used to.

I never thought that Kenny dying was funny, but I thought that it added a morbid touch which I liked. In face the entire character added a morbid touch. He lived poorly, was vulgar, nobody could hear him and he always died. I miss him being in the spotlight and I miss him dying. :c

I don't think he's really the most favorite. I think that people are lame and so everyone you ask who doesn't really watch South Park would say Kenny just to save face. Why would they say Kenny? Because the phrase "Oh my God, you/he/they killed Kenny" was the most known catchphrase of the early South Park days.
That is my theory.

In my opinion, Kenny is the most popular character, because he's quite mysterious (He's my fav!). I mean, what could be hidden behind that mysterious parka? Well, I know he's blonde & stuff... and he has been revealed on several occasions...
He's like, the mysterious type (like Link), not saying anything or people not knowing what he says. (if comprehensible, then its usually something vulgar.) That could be why.
Either that, or it's the death thing.
