Elementals + DotE - The Keeper

For my Elementals series and the rpg based on the same series, Destiny of the Elements.

Anyways! This is the Keeper! Her name is Reili, and she's 8-9, somewhere around there. She's human, and loves kittens and ribbons. And animals in general, actually. She's rather playful, but she takes her job rather seriously. *hugs her*

Her role differs from Elementals and Destiny of the Elements.

Elementals: Despite her playful, fun nature, Reili is very lonely inside. In the Elementals-verse, the Keeper isn't allowed contact with anyone, because there's this belief that the world is corrupted and no one should ever stain the pure, untainted Keeper with their ugly, darkened hands. So, Reili is locked away in this Tower in this forest called the Forest of Eternity. She is allowed out, but can't get past the forest, because the forest is impossible to get out of. o___O She doesn't age, and the this Keeper's been around for, like, 400 years. So, she's kind of old.

Initially, she was kidnapped and that's why the whole thing with the Chosen crops up, but I changed my mind. She actually disappeared because something horrible happened during one of her ventures into the forest, and when she released the crystals, she disappeared along with them. Reili's magic is hard to track because she really doesn't have any magical abilities other than releasing/keeping control of the Crystals. Once she releases them, however, she doesn't have any control over them anymore and the Chosen themselves are unable to track her until they go through the Trials. >___>

Destiny of the Elements: In the DotE-verse, Reili has three guardians: an Angel named Khairyi, a Human named Jonathan, and a Pixie named Nemerri. She's closest to Khairyi and loves him bunches. She calls him Khai and enjoys putting his hair up in girly styles.

The Keeper is allowed to travel and deal with all the people and whatnot, and is loved by most. Unfortunately, being out and about attracts the wrong crowd, and those who want the Elemental Crystals all to themselves tend to stalk her and cause trouble. This typically isn't a problem, but they were overwhelmed one day. The four were ambushed and Reili was cornered. Nemerri and Jonathan were killed, but Khairyi's insane love for the Keeper kept them from killing him too. He almost got her back, but the ambushers captured her and Reili panicked, not wanting to see her favorite Guardian murdered before her eyes. She released the Crystals and pleaded that one of them save him as she was taken away.

Khairyi was taken into jail and whatnot, and he rejected the Crystal that Chose him. (This is rare, often, the Crystals don't let you reject them, they just Choose you. o___O) The crystal then went on to Choose someone else.


I love Reili. She's changed a lot from her initial concept. She's killed in Elementals (maybe? I'm still debating on that.), but she'll live in DotE. Because I love her so much.
