Love Song for my Enemy

Dear foe - haunter of my mind
I hope I haunt your mind too
I don't love you, although you'll find
My lust is as strong and as true -
It's the height of intimacy

I know you better than your wife
You think if I die you'll be free
We'll be joined in the afterlife
I came to this realisation
When I dreamed of you last night
You do have my admiration
We're incomplete without our fight
I can't turn back now I've confessed
I need you now, I am obsessed

This is a sonnet I wrote a while ago when I was doing poetry. I don't write much poetry anymore.

The teacher loved this. He thought it was the best poem I wrote for that class.

Thanks to for the image.

Rapture HalfaFoxgirl Says:

I am drawn to this. Very nicely written.
But it sounds more like a note than a song. But bah thats my opinion.

Zlady Says:

Hahaha! That's really good, it makes a lot of sense and it's kind of funny, too.

Radical JoJo Says:

Aww, really excellent. I just wish it were longer, to explore the theme more.

Ozzyturtle123 Says:

Great job! Funny in a twisted way.

mercury yume Says:

very complex theme, I think you treated it well.
