Calling Down the Storm

Lovely, lonely, listless, lost,
The Queen of Twilight,
Lady Frost,

Singing, searching, shaking, sundered,
Walked the ramparts; the storm
thundered.

Dancing, daring, drifting, doffs,
Her bare skin pale,
Stormlit,

Whispers, wistful, wonders, warm,
Lady Aleana called down
the Storm.

It's a story. If you ignore the first line of each stanza, it actually reads fairly coheisively, too. It becomes:

"The Queen of Twilight, Lady frost, wandered the ramparts; the storm thundered. Her bare skin pale, stormlit, Lady Aleana called down the storm."

Credit for the picture: This one is actually mine, so don't get after me on this. Credits for the stock used to create it are in the submission.

Oh very neat! Good job, I really like the alliteration

Gartenian Princess Says:

mm, two poems in one are ~always~ fun. I do have to say it's lovely(the story)...and the poem, in fact...the alliteration deffinitly does add, you can feel the snow and life in the poem more. very nice, as usual.
