Ermm. I painted this thing during the summer. I just never finished it because my schoolwork (animation OO) takes up too much time now. I'm just going to post the this cruddily cropped off part for now (Maybe I'll finish it, but most likely not. It's getting too old and I want to start doing new stuff that I can use in a portfolio when I graduate school) My school projects usually have deadlines of either 3 days to a week to finish, say a couple of landscape paintings or character designs (in the midst of classes and other work) So, usually those don't turn out as well as they should (aka I dislike them) I need to do more of those during my free time when I am less stressed. Yes. Er...sorry for the tangent

But yeah I sort of just started using Photoshop for painting stuff. I think it turns out messier but the colors are easier to lay down.

very nice! I've also started to lay down my "paint" with photoshop. Because the color control is muuuch better. But then I go to smooth it all together and do details in Painter anyway haha!

This looks very good despite the fact that it's not finished. I like the fading into the mist efect you get from it. Also those wings remind me of the eagle(owl?) design on Links shield in Zelda-Ocarina of Time wich is awesome
That helmet is pretty cool to!
