I feel almost silly featuring a painting that everyone is already talking about...
Anyone who's used acrylic knows that it is a
hard medium to work with. The paint's dried on your canvas almost as soon as you've set it down. Nevertheless,
WeildTheKey has attacked it like a true Spartan warrior, and not backed down. The result is a brilliantly detailed work, screaming with color, ripe with texture, and bursting with that oh-so-important "oomph" factor. The piece keeps great transitions between areas of opacity and transparency, and the value structure is just smart, with hilights in all the right places to direct you to Leonidas' wild eyes and glinting teeth. I can't help but think that the gods Ares and Miller are smiling.

This is beyond epic it's....Godly something like this should be way featured but seeing the type of Cast that sheezy has it won't. They'll pick a gay flower over something godly as this.
