Tolerance

Will you tolerate him?
the man before you?
Though is skin is different,
his heart is not the same.
Or will you degrade him,
give him no other choice?
will you beat him?
This is your choice.
Will you accept he has a wife and child?
Will you take his hand and say "You're hired"
or will you sneer as so many do?

What about that man?
Same skin as you
though he has a different taste
when it comes to love.
Will you tell him he's unwelcome?
call him mean names?
Or will you accept that he's
just a man with a different
outlook on the word love.
Will you tell him he cannot
do what everyone else can?
Will you degrade him?
Call him not a man?
But most of all will you
not tolerate him?

Tolerance takes many forms
from a smile to an assist
it helps people once and a while
to tolerate is not such a hard task.

You just keep the evil inside
and watch with a blind eye.
Blind to their preferences
blind to their skin.

Don't doubt your feelings
but don't be so harsh.
Tolerance isn't only for
the constant kind of heart.

though the man maybe of different skin...

He may be the best there has ever been...

So keep those comment in your mind...

Do not be so biased

For once, try being kind
