This picture shows my cat Fritz's ear recovering after being split in two.
A couple months ago, I woke up and saw Fritz out on my deck, waiting to get in. I couldn't see his head the way he was sitting up against the back door. I knocked on the door so he'd get up and let me open it, and he looked up and his ear was split. It wasn't very bloody, just, in half. So I let him in and my mother and I took him to the vet to get it taken care of. Sadly, his ear will be permantently split like this.
As for the picture, I aplologize for the quality. Fritz just doesn't stand still when I want him to. He either comes up and sniffs at the camera, getting snot on the lense, or he walks around me and nudges me with his cheek.

0_< Darn, that poor cat... It's alright, though, I don't think he'll be in any pain. It'll just look bad. One of my cats was born with one eye stuck in its head, unable to be used for sight. It's still blue while his other one is yellow now. I think that it must not work, but he doesn't pick at it. Fritz should be alright. ^^ But did you ever find out how he got that wound? o_o
