The thought of you...

The pouring rain doesn't seem to have an effect on us.
The agonizing pain I feel when we argue over something we don't mean at all.
We wait until we can fill that empty place that faded away during the pain.
And when it rains, the pain I feel doesn't seem to sting.
My heart is tangled up in you so it's hard to forget.
Still angered by the thought that it's all my fault.
I must find a place for myself, a place I could stand on my own,
So I don't hurt anyone anymore.
I sit in the rain wondering how and if we'd wait forever, and never speak to each other again.
It doesn't even seem to matter where we've been.
Because everything and everyone is lost,
Like you and I.
I still sit in the rain, but the thought of you, won't fade away.
I watch as violence and terror take over the world.
Your still on my mind, I ask myself how.
I can't find the answer no matter how hard I search.
I look into the sky and see no sun.
But the thought of you, will never fade away.
