Rainy Days

Oh, the randomness!

I did this as part of an art-challenge-trade with MageSahara. In an attempt to inspire each other, we each gave the other an art challenge so we could try to improve. My challenge was to draw Kedar, MageSahara's otter character (because I've never drawn an otter before) and draw him in the rain, annoyed (because I'm bad at expressions).

Well, I wasn't sure why an otter would be annoyed in the rain, so I thought about it for a bit and suddenly the bird idea came to mind (most likely because it was late and my randomness factor increases exponentially after midnight...). So he's annoyed because he has a headbird. The headbird (which is kinda sorta based on a sandpiper, but I dunno how big they are so maybe it's a baby) is just curious I suppose.

Kedar's annoyed expression kinda works, though I think he looks more bored or indifferent. But maybe he's bored AND annoyed! >.> But at least I did the fur. Of doom.
