Don't Mess With the True Fans

Ever met a purist?

They are those people at conventions and clubs who go on and on about how the origional, non-dubbed (and occasionally non-subbed) anime is the only anime that is true. They feel that dubbes perverse and corrupt the origional spirit of the anime, and are therefore evil. They hate English Voice Actors, and constantly bash them.

I once met this guy who went on an hour long shpiel about how Chris Patton destroyed Sousuke Sagara, and Full Metal Panic! in general. It was all I could do not to kill him.

But he did regret it. Trust me.

I have nothing against the origional animes. In fact, some of them I prefer over the dubbed version. And then there are some dubbes I prefer over the origional. FMP is one of those animes. Vic Mignogna as Kurz Webber was oh so much better than Kurz's Japanese actor, who sounded really bored with his part, and slightly nazeled. Vic was awesome sauce, and Chris Patton and Luci Christian were a dynamite combo. And Hillary Haag was just too cute. x3

Anyway...I had this idea for a bit. I think I wanted an excuse to draw Kaze with a gun. And, let me clarify:

I. CANNOT. DRAW. WEAPONS.

I had a picture reference! And I still failed! D;

That also includes knives. >>

I had origionally intended then all to be glaring down at the purist over their noses like those yakuza you see in manga, with piercing glares and gritted teeth, and huge, flaming battle auras. But, once again, my drawing skills failed me.
