Tried a few new things with this, not quite sure how it worked out. The shading looks kinda bleh but I like how changing things made his face look. Ish. His right leg is utter evil.
Ikia is from the same culture as Jan (when I started drawing the last picture I was actually trying to draw Ikia when he was younger, and it just didn't work. Ikia looks a lot more manly in his skirts than Jan does >.> )
The random floating objects are weapons. Ikia's right hand dominant, so the sharp and shinies go on that hand, while the sticks (which basically emit beams of magic or something. It has to do with the power source of their culture that I haven't figured out yet so I'm not quite sure) go with the non dominate hand since they require less accuracy. Yes, they are floating, the sharp and shinines are in their neutral position, the sticks are curling back so he can send them towards an enemy as he jumps out of the position he just landed in.

Foreshortening is evil, isn't it? Totally agree with you right there. You might want to round out the thigh a little more and extend the knee out as well.

i'm not gonna try and get fancy with anatomical terms. i don't know em. but you know those lines under the belly that make a "V" down to the crotch? see how they're showing above the waste in relation to the leg?.. or if that's his stomach/ab lines, the shading shouldn't suggest that the lines are going inward yet. if it IS the V thing, it's too close to the belly button.
