my cousins' cat, a big beastly Maine Coon who is the nicest cat and will greet you at the door every time.
Painted.. last March-ish ('04)
the eye took me a few hours. critique welcome, I'd like to improve my painted animals.
dunno how long it took really, because it was done in a class that was 3 hours a day, two days a week.

the eye really paid off, it's my favorite part of the pic. beautiful beautiful job. the only thing i might crit is ... the forehead... there's something i can't place. wish i could elaborate more.... i'm sorry. but don't listen to me, i've never seen the kitty.
wonderful job, the texture in the fur is supurb (sp? fck sp....)
