My body's just like a leaf
It just wants to be free
From the earth that you
Buried me in
My heart's so damn cold beneath
This dirt

I'm holding tight onto home
To this branch, I won't let o
Like a harsh cold wind
You blow at me
Trying to push me away
Do you not see me pleading?

Green is what I used to be
Yellow is how callow I have been
Orange is all the pain inside
Red is al the love that stains me now
As I'm flying to the ground
My mind is turning brown
As I'm dying

I'm holding tight onto home
To this branch, I won’t let o
Like a harsh cold wind
You blew me away
Because home I cannot stay
Do you not see me bleeding?!

On this hard, cold ground
I lay buried beneath these roots
Over and over I say to myself
Everything will be okay
What do you make of these colors…
in me?
Do you not see me fading away…
Into nothing?
What I've feared became
My forsaken grave!
