Sanded arcs

New evening class, new picture. This time an abstract geometric piece in the vein of Kandinsky. No particular meaning intended, but one could certainly make something up. I first did an underpainting in light ochre with sand added; this gave the painting a particularly rough texture which made very interesting streaking possible.
