Russet White

Alright! More of Rabid's work colored. I bet you never expected something like THIS to happen. This one's slightly unusual, however, in the fact that it's basically my fault the character exists-- though I didn't make him.

So, I had this old character named Tuan that I wanted to revive for some reason. Like Meeba (the character), he was a ferret. I thought of connecting them in some way, and so I did it in the most direct way possible.

I decided to retcon Tuan into an imperfect clone of Meeba, and made a recolor of an older image for that purpose. The results, if you are interested, can be found here: http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5191/meebsandtuangg8.jpg (Meeba is on the left, Tuan is on the right.) The story supposedly goes that, when Meeba was around 8 or 9, he stumbled across a flash cloning (instant, non-exact duplication) machine and triggered it on himself. He decided to name this differently-color version of himself Tuan for no particular reason and grew up with him. They are distinct individuals, but have many of the same dispositions-- and share a lot of stuff. Like clothing, money, a bedroom...

But anyway. I told Rabid about all this and it compelled him to a similar thing with his fursona character, Ash Black. The result, which has a name that makes slightly more sense than Tuan does, is this fellow: Russet White. Yes, it's a pun based on the dominant fur color and outfit! You are victorious and may redeem your cookie coupon at the nearest Publix.

But, yeah... The vector shape in the background was taken from some about.com clipart pack; I did NOT construct it myself. All other work, excluding Rabid's original sketch, was done by me.
